Not even the slightest worry it would slip if the tank - even at highway speeds it stayed put. Well made product with helpful interior pocket to hold my insurance and registration card and a charging cord. There are two zippers (with fabric pulls that DO NOT scratch a tank as some other reviewer stated) which allow a charging cord to be attached to the phone while riding by zipping to each zipper around it. The plastic is very clear but it can be a little difficult to do swiping gestures on the phone or touch small buttons like for an unlock code. I found it useful to keep screen on my Waze gps screen the whole time (with charge cord attached). It did get a bit hot sittting in direct sun and Summer time Louisiana heat if sitting still for a while and with charger attached but once moving it didn’t seem to matter. Overall the pouch has exceeded my expectations and was well constructed. If you don’t want to add a perch type phone holder then this is a good option especially with the other features of the added inside pocket. I have an iPhone X and it fits perfect.

Please Note: I did not receive this free or at a reduced price. I paid full price. A great fit on my 2016 FLRT and quite attractive. I had to put a small piece of foam underneath the phone (Galaxy S6 Edge +) to hold it against the widow. Other than that it worked perfectly. Very pleased with this purchase.

This is a good phone holder tank bag, my phone fits and so did my boyfriend's phone his is a note 9 my phone is much smaller, the magnets are very strong it stayed put and I was going 90 mph, I do however keep it towards the bottom of the tank more between my legs vs up top closer to the handlebars.

This is a great idea, well made and nice looking. It deserves 5 stars. HOWEVER: Be forewarned: If you have a phone that works with a smart case, the magnets in this holder may make your screen stay off. It [my phone] thinks it is in a smart case and the flap is closed because, well, MAGNETS! So, I'm trying to figure out how to over-ride my phone settings to disable the smart case function, but it doesn't appear to be a setting. Therefore, I cannot use the phone while it's in the holder. Kinda upsetting because the size and how well it adheres to my tank without scratching the paint is excellent, but I've found plenty of useful things to store in there instead.

Magnets keep it on tank very well, and it's well padded. My LG G6 fits perfect, and i can see the screen very well in the horizontal position (before you ask why would i need to see the screen when i'm paying attention to road, i have to use my phone as a speedometer, so quick peeks to make sure i'm sticking to speed limit). It has two zipper pulls. Just a few observations: 1) i learned my phone shuts off when it overheats, so the two zippers on either side is great, since i can just zip up the sides, but leave the 'top' side open to allow for some wind circulation. I might try to cut some vents along the spine. 2) depending on how your phones is configured to detect 'light' or usage, observe the screen after zipping in bag so that the magnets do not accidentally activate a sleep or standby mode on your phone, IF you are using it for something, like speedometer. In my case the screen dimmed and a few minutes in, phone shut off....

I LOVE this little magnetic phone holder. I've stuffed copies of my registration and insurance and $20 emergency bucks in the little pocket. My S9 and even the gf's iPhone in its pelican case fits inside, with some stretching. The 6 magnets keep my phone on my tank, out of the way but visible, especially when using the it as GPS. The touch screen is decent enough, through gloves, to allow me to flip screens if I need to, like when someone calls and I need to get back to GPS. I've had zero issues with it slipping off the bike, even on rough roads or highway speeds. And the soft material has me satisfied that it won't scratch the paint. It's also subtle enough that I've stick it to the underside of the bike, if I didn't want to carry it with me.

It works, it's hung on to my tank at ALL highway speeds. My assessment is as follows: NOT waterproof, but it will protect your phone long enough for you to get it out of harms way. Before putting into the case, I have put my phone in a small, thin zip-lock which will protect it against water if you need it for the map. Be careful of the magnets. Out of the box is no problem; however, the magnets are quite powerful, and WILL pick up debris and if you're not careful, that could scratch your paint. Zipper is solid, but plastic. Don't over-stuff, trust me here. Otherwise, I'm very happy with my purchase.

Magnets are stronger than I was thinking I was going to get for price. I've gone speeds far above most people with it and I can say, if you need to use phone for GPS on a official legal racetrack, that this can easily handle 140mph without coming off of tank even on a naked bike. Be safe

This is the perfect fit for my pixel 3a running Android Auto. Used it extensively on a 500 mile trip over the weekend. The magnets are strong, and held tight to the tank of my Triumph. I can't imagine this coming off under any normal circumstances. There was also enough room to put an external battery in and connect it; I just left a little spot unzipped on the bottom where the cable coiled.

Superb magnet strength! I like to ride my Suzuki M90 with my phone, but can't take it into work - so I bought this case. I can then hide it on the bike. The other day I put it under the rear fender but forgot it was there when I rode the 12 miles home. I thought all was lost, I mean, how could this thing have held on upside down just inches above the rear tire. But when I checked for it - It had not fallen off!Twelve miles over bumpy roads, multiple stoplights, potholes, and even a slight off-road detour (pay attention car drivers!).A must buy if you need something smaller to hold your phone to your motorcycle. Your mileage may vary if your bike doesn't have steel for the magnets to work their physics.
