I don’t know why everyone’s acting like they were really using taxis anymore . They are waaay more expensive.

Chantelle Reid

Imagine no checkpoints or tests, how often would people drive drunk knowing that they won't be anyone there to check ever, and also public transport and taxi ware always doing that.

Vanu Vekaria

Uber have done more and to reduce lyft drunk driving

Brad Ailani Bradshaw

Yeah. But the taxi union is saying cases of rape have gone up.

Jeremy Waugh

Thought this belong here. No evidence to support your claim op.

Alicia Flickinger

Ginger Bugielski

I don't think the objective of checkpoints is to reduce the numbers of drunk drivers, but to catch them and help collect data of how many people drive drunk.

Jessica Bell-McLean

What the fuck i had a stroke trying to read it the first time

Yvonne Walker

It went down where I'm from cause everywhere are campain against drunk driving and promoting having a "Sober Sam", also it seem the younger generation is not as dumb as some would make them to be

David Cote

We not reinventing the wheel here, taxies been around for ages

Sherri Blalock

Buses have done even more, what’s your point?

Angelita Nipales

I second that. Rape cases have gone up and so have murders.

Jennifer Mosby

if there was no police checkpoint, why bother taking an uber? OP you are so full of shit

Shannon S Green

So, free market capitalism has done more to reduce drunk driving than government control did? What a surprise.

Elizabeth Hocog

If you're after EVEN SINGLE DRINK and go for a drive that mean you shoul lost you driving license. Drinking or driving, choose one.

Ramonito Tragico Jr.

Those apps is illegal in Sweden , you need to have q taxi license to drive People around for money. Its because of safety reason.

Sharyn L Fareso

In my country also reducing the life expectancy on women. But yeah, less drunk drivers.

Malcolm King

And there is also been an uptick of attempted rape’s, attacks and kidnappings. And also all-around awkward rides.

Ryan Sammis

Taxi's are only expensive because of licencing and taxes. Governments don't care about you, they care about taxing you.
